There is a full programme of events and activities available throughout the year. Details of the main holidays programme will appear below, but there is always something on in the half-term breaks too!
Christmas Programme
21st & 22nd Dec - Group Lessons as Normal. Group lessons will be running as normal throughout the weekend, there will be Christmas games and festive activities included within the hour. Let’s see some tinsel on your hats and don’t forget to bring some to put on the ponies!
23rd Dec – Festive Pony Care day. Our popular Pony Care days are for children age 5yrs and over of any riding ability. This day will include a riding lesson in the morning and festive gymkhana games in the afternoon. There will also be lots of Christmas activities and stable management to do throughout the day. As it is a festive themed day, we would love to see those amazing Christmas costumes, so please come in fancy dress. We will have some spare Christmas costumes for anyone who needs them. Remember to bring some tinsel to decorate your pony! The cost for the full day is £40 per child however we also offer half days 9-12/1-4 at £25 per child. Please send your child with a packed lunch and suitable outdoor clothing.
24th Dec – Christmas Eve Party Morning!! Our Christmas Eve Party morning is 3hrs of Christmas fun! The day will start at 9am and finish at 12pm. We will be playing lots of Christmas party games on and off the ponies. Each child will receive a gift and a rosette. Please come in Christmas fancy dress. (You might even see our instructors dressed up to!!) If you can bring along some tinsel and decorations to dress up the ponies and their stables! £25 per child.
CHRISTMAS DAY AND BOXING DAY CLOSED!!
27th Dec – Fun Friday! (This will also be the start of our Own a Pony Experience. See other printout for full details) Fun Fridays run throughout all our school holiday programmes and are very popular. They are for children who can already walk, trot and do a small canter off the lead rein. The children decide on arrival what activities they would like to take part in throughout the day. Usual activities are; jumping competitions, learning how to ride a dressage test, riding on the lunge, riding bareback. There will also be an opportunity for any of our Pony club members to earn a new badge and\or a Park View Stable management certificate. The day starts at 9am and finishes at 4pm, the cost is £40 per child or £35 for pony club members.
28th & 29th – Group Lessons as Normal
30th Dec – Private Lessons and Hacks We will be running private lessons and hacks all day from 9am. This will be a great opportunity for friends and family to get together and do something fun and maybe a bit different or for our regular riders to enjoy a last ride of 2019 here at Park View. We will be offering special discount rates for private group bookings and hacks throughout this day only, please call to discuss. As part of our New year jumping package (see separate print out) we will be running group jumping lessons on this day for any riders who are just cantering and have started jumping to our more advance riders who are jumping around a full course.
31st – New Years Eve Clear Round Jumping morning See separate print out for full details!
